Sandals Help

Postby Jim » Sun Oct 03, 2004 6:22 pm

Hi, I'm new to the forum and would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone would have regarding a Sandals weddingmoon this November. I think we are leaning on San Lucian or Royal Caribbean, but are pretty open to suggestions. We would like to get a premium type room and were hoping to avoid construction as much as possible.

thanks in advance for any help :)

Not sure how this plays into things, but generally speaking I think you're going to find it's much less expensive to go to Jamaica than it is to go to St Lucia. And Jamaica (generally) is going to have more flexible travel options for you.

That being said, I don't think you can go wrong with either place. Mywife and I are going to St Lucia in December, but we've heard so many great things about Jamaica we'll probably go there next.

I agree with the above poster, I think you will find that Jamaica is cheaper.

My Fiance' and I have been to Sandals Ocho Rios twice and we were thinking about trying St. Lucia for our Honeymoon in May and found that it added about $1500 to the trip for the same level room as in Jamaica.

We have since decided to go back to Jamaica, if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Good Luck and have fun!!

Saw many marriages at mobay and many of the guest from royal carribean at smb. the night life was really good. the jets taking off that you read about really did not detract from the resort.
