Does anyone know if they are going to offer tranfers from Whitehouse to Sandals Negril or other Sandals resorts? If so can you let me know because my husband and I are going in May and would really like to make a day trip into Negril. Also does anyone know of any attractions to actually go and visit in Whitehouse?

AS FAR AS I KNOW, THEY ALREADY PROVIDE TRANSFERS BETWEEN ALL OF THE RESORTS IN JAMAICA. I WOULDNT THINK THEY ISOLATE THIS ONE, THEREFORE, THEY SHOULD HAVE TRANSFERS TO ALL OF THEM.

No, Dr, I don't think that is the way it works.

The three in MoBay share shuttle transfers but, you can't go to Negril or Ocho Rios on a free shuttle transfer. You can get your own transportation and use the facilities in Negril or Ocho Rios.

In Negril there is a shuttle between the two Beaches but, not between Sandals and Beaches. Although, the same is true there. You can use the facilities of the other resorts but, the transfers are not provided.

I have read on other boards that, as of right now, there is not going to be shuttle transfers between Sandals Whitehouse and any other Sandals. You will be able to use the facilities in Negril, MoBay or Ocho Rios but, no transfer will be provided. You will need to get your own transportation.

This is only what I have read and it could be wrong about Sandals Whitehouse transfers but, as far as the other transfers go, unless things have changed since last winter, I am sure about that.

Yeah, that's what I hear, too.. .. ..that WH will not be offering the "stay at one, vacation at 2 , or 3" or whatever. I was told WH is too remote a location and Sandals would not be doing any transfers to the other resorts.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .

I believe that if you stay at the Whitehouse you can use other Sandals properties in the areas of Mobay, Negril or wherever, but transfers provided by the hotel will not happen. Southcoast is way out in the middle of basically nowhere.. ..not a touristy area as of yet.

I would imagine that if you would like to do a day trip to Negril, you could do that and use the faciilities offered by the Negril Sandals properties with no worries.

Laffs is correct. While staying at a Sandals anywhere, you can use any other Sandals facilities for everything except sleeping in a room overnight.
Some Sandals properties are clustered together such as in St. Lucia which currently has 3 properties. There is free shuttle service between the three resorts. If I were in St. Lucia and wanted to go to Sandals Ocho Rios, I may do so.. .. ..however transportation would be my responsibility. While at Whitehouse you are more than welcome to use the Sandals Negril property or even the Beaches property, but because of the distance from Whitehouse, you will have to provide your own transportation.
