Hi CK2 we have been twice to Antigua and just fell in love with everyone and everything there! the people there at the resort are so kind and will do anything to make your stay one in a million! our up grades were great but not expected and the entertainment was great every night! the grounds are just beautiful like no other! we will go back again some time for sure! all the negative things I have heard dont seam right to me but everyone is entitled to an option! so i dont think you would be unhappy with Antigua. OH P.S if you do go to Antigua sandals you must try A drink called the SIPSOP. and the bartender named BOOGIE makes the best one in Antigua!

I agree that it's an excellent resort. Once watch-out. Of all the resorts we've stayed at, this one had the lowest level of entertainment. The disco was nice, but not being a late-night person, I like the early evening entertainment the best.. .. .

I realize it's tough, but unlike Jamaica where there are millions to pool talent from, Antigua either has to fly entertainment in or get it from a population of roughly 85,000.. ..a small talent pool for night acts.

There was one band..I wish I remembered the name, but they played top 40's on Saturday night. Mostly stuff from the 70's and 80's, but everything you can dream up, they can do..and do well.. .. . They take requests! Made up for a lackluster week as far as entertainment goes.

Don't get me wrong, I'd go back! Besides, the band let me sing with them - it was the highlight of my week! It was "You Can Call Me Al". ..who could resist?

Anyway, the rest of the resort experience was great. They have one of the coziest properties..what with their bungalows and all.. .

If you go, give my best to the manager Winston. He was a quality guy.

Take care - and enjoy your trip :)
