My husband and 2 sons (early 20's) want to travel in Italy this Dec-Jan. We've looked at the 8 day Trafalgar tour, and are thinking of adding days on the end to be on our own.
Some other postings seem to indicate the age group is geared more towards people in their 60's and 70's? We are all very athletic, non smokers. What opinions to people have about this tour vs planning a trip just on our own?? Thanks for your help!

I have travelled on numerous Trafalgar tours starting from when my son was 10. (He is now 18 and no longer wants to travel with his mom.) There are usually a variety of ages, especially during school vacation times. But I would say the average age is mid 50's. Lorraine
