Does anyone still know if they upgrade you a room catagory if you are a returning sandals guest? Me and my husband went to SDR for our honeymoon and are thinking about taking a trip to Whitehouse. We heard in the past that returners get an upgrade but not sure how that works at the new property. Can anyone help me

If you haven't already, you need to join the SSG (Sandals Signature Guest Program) to insure your chance of an upgrade. We have been Sandals return guests (under verious Sandals repeat guest programs) since 1989 and have usually gotten an upgrade, a couple of times on our insistance but usually without asking. Upgrades usually are based on availability. When you visit Sandals, even the first time, you will get an application to join SSG (we still get them an we are not only repeat guests but members-go figure). . If not the Sandals website has a request application on the SSG webpage. Other perks are listed on that web page.
Another piece of advice, especially if your TA is a Sandals certified agent, is to have that person request an upgrade for you. Also request it through SSG contact and writing the GM, Sales, PR and/or Guest relations at that resort with your requests (email or fax). . Since Whitehouse is still in construction, you obviously have to wait until it is open.
