I was just woundering what the ride was like from the airport to the royal plantation and the whitehouse ? how long does it take and do we need to bring anything for the ride?

don't need anything for the ride, except $$$ if you want to get a drink or food at the stops (which we didn't -- free stuff's waitin on you at the resort). . haven't been to royal plantation but know that it's in ocho rios and is further than SDR. it took us about 2 hours to get to SDR, some people make it in 1 1/2. people complain about that ride, but honestly, it's a free way to see the entire north coast of the island. get over it. it's not that bad at all. whitehouse will probably be closer to 75-90 minutes.
