I've signed up for the Best of Italy tour departing on 10/10/04.

Does anyone know if the Uffizzi in Florence is included as an optional excursion?

And if it's not included, if there is time to do it on your own?

No it is not Included with the tour, but it might be offered as an optional on the tour.. .. . from the optional section of trafalger - I25a. FLORENCE. Uffizzi & Medici Courtyard. On certain departures we will enjoy a guided visit of the Uffizzi galleries instead of visiting the 'Museo del Duomo'. . Euro 43. Check with Trafalger to see if that will be offered and then if they do offer it it means there will be enough time to take the Optional or visit on your own (do your research before ie; make sure there is transportation available and the cost of doing it on your own vs. paying for optional). . Sometimes they make it so the "Optional" is not really an Option, its either Go or Stay around the hotel (boring). .
