Considering Highlights of Italy, Am I Too Young

Postby Sara » Fri Aug 06, 2004 5:32 pm

I am considering Cosmos' Highlights of Italy in October and had a few questions for anyone familiar with the Cosmos or this tour. First, I am 23 and will be traveling with my mother and grandmother (who are pretty crazy themselves); are there usually younger travelers on this type of tour? Also, are the hotels typically in the city centers where i can venture off too find trouble on my own? Ive read mixed reviews regarding Cosmos vs Globus, anyone with first hand experience? Any info from those whom have traveled would be appreciated. thanks! :D
. .. ..is it going to be cold in october??

I did 2 Cosmos tours this year, and even though the majority of travellers were 40+ there were younger members on both, 21 and even some teenagers travelling with dad. So don't let your age affect your decision. Check the internet for the location of hotels, most of the ones we stayed at were convenient for night life activities,
if you have enough energy at the end of the day!
Happy travels

Hi Sara
We did a Cosmos tour in September, the youngest in the group was 11 and the oldest was 78. My wife and I are in our early 30's and we joined up with another couple in there late 20's. You will always find someone to connect with, everyone in the group is just like you out to have a great time.
