Room Service @ Whitehouse

Postby RubyAnn » Fri Jul 30, 2004 12:57 am

I received this sheet and it is basically a Sandals 'selling' sheet as it is titled Sandals Whitehouse ULTRA SELLING POINTS>It has all of the info regarding Whitehouse. It does state there is Continental Breakasts served, but don't know if that is going to be in rooms for sure, although under Breakfast it states the 2 restaurants that breakfasts will be served in and then another bullet with the following "Room service and Continental Breakfast, served between 7:30-10:30am.". .. .. .. .. . so one would think it is served in rooms.. .. ..but who knows at this point.???
Cheryl was a sweetheart to share this sheet to all who who asked for it.. ..so again a big THANK YOU!

yeah, thanks Cheryl for the info. couldn't remember who it came from. just wondering if it was canonized sandals info or something that someone had typed up for easy reference. if it is official Sandals info, the Sandals reps on the phone don't know about it.

drperfect,
I seem to recall initially that Cheryl had said that she got this from a Sandals rep when she called them directly.. .. ..somehow she finagalled this out of him and he faxed it to her. :) . .. ..don't want to stake my firstborn on this though!. .. .. .. . :P
It is dated 3/06/04 and says 'subject to change without notice". .. .. .. .. . since you are going there when it opens you will have to gather as much info to pass onto all of us waiting in the wings!

yeah, will do. starting to question how much they changed about this spreadsheet actually, as it also says that there are 6 bars when the website claims 7. we'll see what's true in the days to come.

i believe i recognize Debbie of tropictravelonline fame, and if so, you probably know an infinitely more than me about this, but it looks like the top FOUR room categories are suites, though I do agree that I heard only the top TWO categories had jacuzzis. anyway, still doesn't negate the fact that the spreadsheet and several other sources are claiming that continental b-fast room service is available to EVERYBODY! not saying it's true, just saying a lot of people are saying that it is.

Hey.. ..everyone got the spreadsheet??? Cheryl, I would really like a copy if you can e-mail to to me.

Guess it depends on who you talk to. You can call 5 different people and get 5 different answers. We just have to wait and see what happens once the resort is opened.

The 3/04 fact sheet is the "new one". . I do have it posted at tropictravelonline, you just go to Destinations > Sandals Whitehouse from the menu at the front page, and then scroll through the dropdown to find it. I usually go to my group sales manager for answers, as most of the regular reps have nothing but that fact sheet that I know of.

Ok, at the risk of sounding stupid ( but hey, I'm among friends, right?) I'm not real thrilled at the beach pic.. .. ..not because of the beach, but the water.. .. ..the water in the Bahamas at the RB was crystal clear and a gorgeous BLUE.. .. .. ..very tourquise-blue, and I was thinking the water was the same color in Jamaica.. .. ..am I way off????

I haven't been to Treasure Beach but have been to lots of Jamaican beaches, and they have been very nice. It was not good weather on the date of Claude's tour.

ok, Debbie, well if the 03/04 fact sheet is the "new" one, it does mention continental for everybody in any room on bullet #7 of the first page.
