Karin,
Hi, I was sent an email from Eola Hills re: their wine tour to Tuscany. I won't be able to join the tour, but I am interested in talking with you about my travel needs.
I am setting up several tours to Central Italy for friends and family members. I am looking for connections/opportunities for combination tours. My tour groups want more experiencial travel, for example 1/2 travel and 1/2 working in a family/home setting, to get close to the people and experience their daly lives. This kind of arrangement could lower the per day cost for my travelers as they could offset some of the cost of the lodging and meals. For example, they could work four days and then be free to travel for three days.
Several of my tour members would like to learn some basic Italian cooking by helping prepare meals.
Do you know of families who would be interested in such an arrangement?
Also, what connections do you have to set up travel arrangements like I've outlined through companies you work with?
Thanks for yor assistance, Karin.
