I think the nightlife at SRB was more active since they were not all honeymooners. When we were there, there was convention going on. Plus, I think because it is so close to the Florida and easier to get there for a lot of people, there are people who like to party. The piano bar is the best place to be at SDR. We noticed, though, that you need to get there early and get a place at the piano. At SRB everybody was standing around the piano. At SDR, after all the seats were gone, most people just sat at the table around. The discos were dead in both places.
We were going to play golf but ran out of time. Golf is at no cost, but you do have to pay for a caddie (Jamaican law) at about $18 per person. I heard that the course is really nice. Don't be fooled by the brochure saying there is a small course at the resort. It was a joke, but fun. Not for the serious golfer.
