We are going on Radiance on 7/31/04. We'd like to take a Helicopter Ride, any suggestions of whom to make arrangements with, or should I do through the ship. (might be sold at at this late date), also, my husband enjoys hiking, I like walking flat, no inclines. He's fine to go without me, can you recommend a 2-3 hour trip for him.

Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

We just did this trip on the Serenade. Had a wonderful time. The ship tours compare favourably with the local rates, just go with them. Plus you'll know that the ship won't go without you returning. There will likely be room for you. Be sure it's the first thing you do (book it) when you get on board.

Be sure to be up on deck when you see the Hubbard Glacier and don't go below before they are finished; you might miss something. Too many people take a look and then disappear for food.
