Which resort is the best, the most beautiful? The Regency, the Grande, or the Halcyon? Have heard mixed reviews about all of them.

I have not been (yet) but in my research and talking with people who have been to both. The Grande seems to win the most votes. But I don't think you can go wrong with any!

Yes I have been researching them all as well. The Grande is the most expensive and you can save money by staying at the Halcyon (also the regency, but not much) However me personally find it to be a pain to have to take a shuttle to the Grande everyday to use thier beach. I would rather wake up and watch the sunset walking on the Grande beach then having to spend time to take a crowded shuttle another resort. Plus if you leave something in your room I am sure that would be frustrating.

Same problem

We had the same problem deciding. We are going on our honeymoon in 5 weeks. I heard the Halcyon was too low key, very laid back. Plus the choice for restaurants wasn't really there. Although the Grande looks nice, I liked the rooms at the Regency better. We ended up getting a 1 Bedroom Honeymoon Villa w/ plunge pool. I think its the #2 room at the place. The views look amazing. I can't wait. :D

Regency is very large and has a lot of elevation change. It's beautiful, but for anyone with any kind of mobility issues it might be better to stay at the Grande.

I was killed in a head-on car crash in 2001 and now have 10 screws and a titanium rod in one ankle. I can't walk a lot and I have problems with hills. So unfortunately I had to stop considering the Regency. I know I will be happy at the Grande though. :)

Oh my goodness, so sorry about your accident. Walking up hills would surely not be a good thing. But the Grande is so beautiful I am sure you wil not miss the Regency. We are going to the Grande in 2 weeks and we had a tough time on deciding which one( i am still questioning it!) Its a hard choice however I have done a lot of research and the Grande seems to be the best one. It is newer and not as big as the Regency. Well anyway have a great time and I will post a review when we get back :D

Guest.. .. . I just had a conversation with someone who has been at all 3 Sandals in St Lucia. I'm hearing that the beach at the grande is a bit more protected than the others and usually has better water clarity and less debris (seaweed and stuff) washing in.
