You have 5 options to enter Turkey from GREECE.
The 2 most popular routes are
Rhodos to Marmaris (Great if you are in Crete or Rhodos)
or
Samos to Kusadasi (Selcuk) (Great if you are in the Cycladic Islands)
To reach SAMOS there are ferries everyday from PAROS /NAXOS and 2 x a week from MYCONOS. (This information is current from JULY 2004-scheduals may change without notice)
From Samos there are 2 ferries a day to Turkey in high season, one ferry in low season and limited schedual in winter. Takes 1 1/2 hrs.
Visa's can be bought at the border.

Great Islands in GREECE to visit:
Paros.. ..cheaper then other Islands, great sandy beaches.

Naxos.. ..the old town here is neat. Make sure you have some Ice cream here.. ..some of the best I have had in my travels!
Santorini.. ..this Island is a must but it is also expensive and more touristy. Make sure you come in on a day ferry (slow baot) so you can see the Island from the sea!
Ikaria..has great hot springs and wonderful sandy beaches!
Corfu.. ..big Island with flowers and trees, olive groves and nice beaches!
Samos.. ..this Island is overlooked due to the connection to Turkey but it is a great place to stay for a night or 2. Big Island, lots of hiking, great coast roads and beaches.
