Club Med versus Hedo versus Contiki

Club Med versus Hedo versus Contiki

Postby Guest » Fri Jul 02, 2004 4:41 pm

Hello,

I am a single (male) traveler deciding between a number of vacations for August.

I'm interested in meeting fun people between the ages of 20 and 35, scuba diving, turquoise blue waters, beautiful beaches, and parasailing.

I've narrowed down my vacations to several choices.

One is Club Med Cancun, which is offering one week, including airfare, at about $1,200. I've never done Club Med.

Another is Contiki's Hawaiin adventurer for 18-35 year olds, which is about $1,400. I've done Contiki before, and I've been satisfied.

Another choice would be a cruise with Carnival. I think Carnival is the right Cruiseline for me, but on my last trip, I could only find a limited number of singles. I did have a great time.

What are the most important ways that the all inclusive Club Med differs from Hedonism? Nudity doesn't bother me, so what are some other differences? Anyone know about how much I can expect to pay.

I realize I can't go too far wrong, but if someone's tried more than one of these, I'd be interested in a comparison.
