I'm planning on going to Australia in late August/early Sept. and can't decide on any tours.. .. . Does anyone have any suggestions? Also are there any local Aussie tour companies that I could email/call to book through them perhaps instead of an American/big tour company?

Hi Pam - go pick up an AAT Kings brochure - you just can't go wrong with them! They have long tours, short tours and everything in between tours. Friend and I tooka 17 day trip from Sydney to Cairns with them - fabulous - on each coach there's a driver and a hostess - makes a big difference, believe me. Hotels were all great and everything went like clockwork.
