Hello,
Just wondering was anyone booked on the above tour for the 27th August 2004? When my husband and I booked there were apparently 47 people already booked on this tour and now they have decided to cancel it. Does anyone know why? We are considering going on the 3rd September or cancelling and choosing another tour, perhaps Cosmos Best of Europe on 28th August or Trafalgar's European Cavalcade on 1st Sept. Anyone on on either of these tours or been on these in the past? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your response. We have made a few changes to our travel plans and one is them is our decision to no longer travel with Cosmos. Have fun on your trip for 3rd September.

I also will never travel with Cosmos again. The hotels in Switzerland and the greater part of Italy were well below standard. Consequently most of us were sleep deprived and not in the mood for the sightseeing. Most of the optional tours were a rip-off and the seats on the bus were not exactly plush. The seats are allowed to tip way too far back and infringe on your personal space. The included dinners were only snacks really with no choice of menu and served very rapidly and one got the feeling that we were not expected to linger. However the tour guide was very good and driver competent. The schedule was too rushed and no leeway allowed to slow down for photos etc. We travelled through 7 countries and had a lot of distance to cover each day. I also will not stay at the London hotels recommend by the tour companies as much cheaper can be had if you shop around on the net yourself.
