Hi.. ..We are going to Sandals Grande St Lucian in October.. ..I was just wondering, besides the obvious, bathing suits, shorts and such.. ..When at the restaurants or out for the evenings, what is expected? How "dressed up" do you need to be?. ..Thanks any info would be great [/code][/i]

I believe the most "dressed up" you need to be is . .. .. .
for gentlemen: long pants (no jeans), shirt with a collar (it appears that polo shirts are ok), and shoes.
for ladies: a sundress (no beachwear)

I think that's like the minimum acceptable for the most dressed up occasion (restaurant). .

Of course you could dress up more than that and some people do, but it's more "casual" than formal.

agreed.. ..you don't have to wear a suit to ANYTHING at Sandals. in fact, i don't think i ever saw a suit at any of the restaurants during our stay.
