Wales or Scotland

I'm going to London this summer. But between Scotland and Wales which one has more historic places and things to see for tourists?

We took a 21 day tour through England/Wales/Ireland/Scotland, All of it was Beautiful and Historic. Scotland was our Favorite, we spent 6 days there and it was not enough, Edinbourgh alone can be 2/3 days if you want or 1 real full day of Incredible sights with more history than one should take in in a day. Grasmere a town no bigger than your hand and you can spend hours without noticing, the Highlands and the Lochs all full of the History of Warring Clans and the battles for Independence. Wales was Beautiful and had some great towns Cardiff was Great, but for us it is Scotland first, only our opinion.

To visit Wales or Scotland?

Most folkes travelling to the UK simply do not allow enough time. Exploring the UK is like trying to see all of the USA. There is no best place just all different and wonderful IF THE WEATHER COOPERATES. Were ever you go allow sufficient time to relax and explore. You can either drvie from London or go by train. I recommend the train to either Edinbourgh in Scotland, or to Cardiffin South Wales or to Bangor or Canaravon in Noth Wales (a diferent trip) and then rent a car. If you do not drive there are plenty of public transportation alternatives. If staying local a car is not essential, but helpful to get to out of the way places convieniently.Where ever you choose Do your research before leaving to help decide where you want to explore or things to see when youget to your destination. Always try the local food, pubs, and shops in town for all sorts of goodies and treats.

I'd say Scotland for sure! Nothing against Wales of course!
