Going to SRC on the 20th of June for my honeymoon..I have read about the renovations and people getting bumped. I am going to call my TA but was wondering if anyone knew if the renovations were done? The comments are making me nervous.. .

I am going for my honeymoon to Sandals Montego Bay in July, and I was worried about the exact same thing. I e-mailed the GM of the resort and requested that I not get bumped, and he assured me that I wouldn't be. In fact, he blocked me into a specific room that I requested and everything. You might want to consider e-mailing the GM of SRC and mention that it is your honeymoon and that you do not want to be moved. I checked on Sandals site, and it appears that SRC will be at full occupancy, so it never hurts to "cover your a$$"

HONEYMOON TO SRC

Postby beachbum73 » Tue Jun 15, 2004 1:21 pm

My soon to be wife and I are going to SRC at the end of July, and would greatly appreciate any info on this resort. I have been reading reviews of construction going on and I was wondering if it is still going on? Also if anyone has any comments on the rooms, we booked a HONEYMOON CONCIERGE GRAND LUX BEACHFRONT. There have been a lot of reviews that say although room is classified as a beachfront it doesn't mean you'll get a beachfront. Is this something I need to call Sandals to request? If anyone can help us with our questions, It would be great. We would also like to hear anyones opinions of SRC.

Thanks
Chris
