Triple Room Reduction and Comfort

Triple Room Reduction and Comfort

Postby mike » Thu Jun 03, 2004 2:20 pm

We are taking our 16 yr old with us on the Essential Europe tour in late July. Has anyone used the triple room accomodations? Do you usually get a roll-away bed with two real beds? We know each hotel will probably be different, but we just want anyone to share their experiences with the triple-room reduction. Thanks, Mike

I've never done triple with Globus but have another company (Insight) and you're right . .. .. . hotels vary tremendously. We've had postage size rooms and suites . .. .. . one never knows. Once we even got two rooms on two diffeent floors to accomodate the three of us . .. .. . just go with good humor and figure you only sleep and shower there.

Sometimes its a rollaway, somethings its other bedding, perhaps a double and a single . .. .. . anyone's guess.

We just finished a tour with Trafalger with our grandson, and we thought that the accomodations for 3 were very adequate. Probably Globus uses same type of hotels. Usually we had a room at the end of the hall with a bit more room, or a semi suite that was adequate for 3. Only one hotel was tight.

We were envied by the other passengers for our "deluxe" accomodations.

Again, it seems to depend on the hotel and what they have to offer.
