I haven't been to Ireland through Globus, but I have been there before with another tour and am planning to go with Globus next May.

There is a lot more history to Ireland that goes back a lot longer than you will realize. I found the most interesting sites were the ones that went back to the time of the Celts and before Britian crossed over. The Irish are known for their stories and every place, whether it's a landmark or a ruin, has at least 5 different stories attached.

I went in June and the weather was a fine mist that seemed to permeate everywhere. It didn't really rain the entire time I was there, but I managed to be soaked every day anyway. I'm not sure how fall is, weatherwise.

I hope this helps!

Ireland is not called the Emerald Isle without reason!

Seriously it does not always rain but it's wise to be prepared - does wonders for the complextion!
