I've been on 3 Globus trips w/ my friends and on all the trips the vast majority are retirees. My last trip had 28 people and 21 of them were retirees.

You can go with Contiki, which caters to those under 35, or maybe even Cosmos. However, when researching I've found that the Globus accomodation and itineraries fits me better. Good luck!

thanks for your response, I do not mind travelling with people who are older than me, I actually prefer it to a bunch of kids just looking to get pissed and sleep unitl noon. My only reservation is will I be included in the group as a single?

go with Globus

Hi,
I am a single 35 year old female and researched all the tour companies. I have decided on Globus and am taking a Europe trip in 2 months for 3 weeks. If you go with Contekiti you will find alot of REALLY young 20 year olds who just want to party and drink. If that is what you are looking for, then go with them. If you want to enjoy the sites and the people and the culture of Europe, go with GLobus. It is more high end then Cosmo. You stay in more first class hotels and is better qualitity of a tour. You will find older people on GLobus, but I am sure it will be okay. Let me know what you decide, I have a couple of good websites on travel tips and packign tips that I have found VERY useful. You will be classed as being a single traveler. Globus used to have a system where they would match you up with someone if you wanted adn you shared a room, but now they do ot. You pay a bit extra for a single supplement, but it is worthit. That way you can have some privacy and have your room to yourself at night
Looking forward to making new friends in my travel

I am having similar concerns as well. I am 26 and I have booked the Asian Mosiac to depart in about 6 weeks. I have had several reservations about traveling alone and am wondering how likely it is I will be included in the group as a single woman. I guess my deciding factors had a lot to do with the adventure of it all. I wanted an English speaking tour and this one appeared to hit all of the major destiations I was interested in. Anyone out there who has traveled in Asia tips are always welcome.
