Sans Souci Resort - Ocho Rios - Ever been ???

Sans Souci Resort - Ocho Rios - Ever been ???

Can't get enough of Jamaica !! Returning for a 4th visit in July but to a resort I've never stayed at and I'm looking for honest reviews and opinions. San Souci Resort - Ocho Rios.

I am aware of the long bus ride, but have read other postings regarding the grounds and the amount of stairs and (sometimes) unsafe walk ways. I'm also curious about the beach and pools. I am there for the rays and want to make sure there are ample places to catch them. And where there's beaches there's drinks with umbrellas in them.. ..how's the liquor? Quality or rock gut?

Any other in information/advice you would be able to share would be greatly appreciated !!

This is a wonderful resort for romance . . Drinks are as strong as you want them, a little courtesy and respect go a long way with the staff here. My husband and I loved the mineral pool and spent alot of time there drinking daiquiris and swimming. The views cannot be missed. The only, and I mean only drawback that i could see was that we stayed at Negril and the beach is much better there. However this beach is much more quiet because they don't have alot of motorized stuff liek they do in negril. Hope this helps. :P

Hi Tamson,
I saw your posting and thought you would be a good person to get info since I am having a heck of a time finding any boards etc about all inclusive resorts. We are thinking of going the end of Sept or Oct. Would like to try an all inclusive. It is 4 girlfriends celebrating turning 50. Want to do as much or as little as we like, of course lots of sun, food and drinks. Any information and/or direction to other message boards etc. would greatly appreciated. Thanks! Cathy

San Souci is a nice property, but if you want to know the area in Ocho Rios and if you want some Jamaican Food check out The Honey Pot on Main Street in Ocho Rios. Delicious food if you get tired of hotel food
