Has anyone taken the European Jewels tour? I am going this summer and would love to hear about it.

I did the European Sampler tour. Departed Dover on P&O Giant Ferries, good trip across English Chanel, Cliffs of Dover spectacular. Arrived Calias, a French industrial port, travelled through Belgium country side, very nice. Brussells an amazing city, expecially The Grand Place, ate seafood paella at main restaurant area, very european and a wonderful experience, as I was travelling on my own, but in the company of other travellers on the tour.

Amsterdam also amazing, highlights canal trip, red light area accompanied by guide, van goghs museum just wonderful, research some of his works before you go, andernach village in Germay, breathtakingly beautiful, also trip down rhine river picturesque, switzerland beautiful, french country side just as beautiful, you must attend the French cabaret to see the can can, just amazing, also the Eiffel tour by night, must been seen to be believed.

An excellent budget tour

Had an excellent tour-Would recommend this to any one.Tour Director,Rolf, and Driver Driess wwere excellent.Very busy,very intense but saw a lot and had a great time.People on our were great.Optional extras were worth the money and I recommend doing them all

This was a great tour, I think I was on the same tour as the previous person with Rolf and Dreiss. They were great. You get to see a lot on this tour, very busy all the time. Do the optional tours like Venice at night and the Lucern Boat trip. We just did 2 optionals and did Florence on our own and Paris on our own. THe tour was well worth it for the first time around.
