Insight Tour: Road to Rome

Hello...I was planning on booking this trip for the summer...does anyone out there have any info about the tour...likes/dislikes? Was it too fast paced with long bus rides? I would truly appreciate the reply! thanks Laughing

I just returned from a Road to Rome tour with my 21 year old daughters. We had a wonderful time, but I know that the tour director can make the difference, and ours certainly did.

The bus rides were not too bad because the motorcoach is very roomy and it was easy for me to sleep. I am glad that I brought my blanket and pillow because it does get cool on the bus. I even used my blanket for a coat one day!

I spent an extra $2400 for the three of us on optional excursions. You have to sign up for them on the 2nd day and no refunds if you decide not to go.
