WHAT IF YOUR CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY?

If you are celebrating your birthday, you have a couple of options.

First, have your booking agent make a note in your reservation that it is your birthday. At the least, the cruise people should put a Happy Birthday sign on your door. (Princess did this much for a friend on a previous cruise.)

Second, if you want to have more of a celebration, for $30 Norwegian will decorate the room and give you a cake. If you go to their web site (www . ncl.com), somewhere on it you'll find an order form to print, complete, and fax to them.

I wondering if my travel agent tells them or would they already know? you mean I have to tell them myself?

Your travel agent SHOULD tell them providing you asked the agent to. However, if you want to get the extra $30 package, then that's a bit different. I think your travel agent can take care of the paperwork for you, but you'll have to specify that. Or you can call NCL yourself and arrange it. Your agent should be able to give you all the info, but if not, it's all on the NCL web page. If you register for yourself (by phone or fax), you'll need your cruise account/registration number.

If you are having a birthday on the ship, tell your TA and they will make a note. The night before the birthday they will slip a Birthday card looking thingy under your door, and where ever you decied to eat that day you would hand it to the waiter and at the end of the meal they'll bring the lucky person their birthday cake. No worries, its gonna be great!
