Just returned from Gate1's 6-day Prague weekend--my first time with Gate1. I usually travel independently, but their price was excellent (just don't forget that taxes can be a surprisingly hefty addition). . Very nice hotel location, good service and food, mattress was awful (a very minor issue). . Before purchasing any optional add-ons through Gate 1, I checked local tour prices and transfer costs online and found that I could arrange my own walking tour, lunch cruise, and airport transfers for half the cost of going through Gate1. That all worked out just fine. My actual cost for airfare and hotel, with taxes, from D.C. was $1,035 for two people (pre-tax trip price was $419 each, or $838). .

gate 1 is good and i have used them 3 times for their fantastic prices. i have been to italy twice and france once. the only thing you need to be careful with is the timing of departure flights unless you are planning of going nonstop. me and friends encounter many problems with flight times and almost missed each flight, it was very close. iwould suggest to do a nonstop flight.
