There is one crossing by way of the Tancredo Neves bridge and it is very
easy and straight forward as long as your documents are in order. (Americans
spend the US$60 and do get a Visa, tour companies will not take you unless
you have a Visa; although you may be able go on your own without a Visa, I
have heard horror stories of fines costing as much as US$2000 for people
trying to get back out of Brazil.)
The Brazilian side has the best panoramic view the falls whereas the
Argentine side has the best up-close views and hikes, etc.
