Hello, I will be going to the US in May and would like to know if I can bring meat across the border to make a picnic and food for camping. Would like to know what we are not allowed to bring.

We just went to Canada this last weekend.. ..and you can't bring ANY meat or meat products across.. .. ..including any dog food or treats. Because of the Mad Cow and the Bird Flu, they won't allow anything. You can purchase items after you cross the border.
