Anyone else who's been, gimme some advice! It's on, it's on, it's on. It is SO on! (btw, thanks for the samples, they were the inspiritation to getting the go-ahead!)

The rooms get confusing at SRB. We stayed in the Manor building and had a grand lux oceanview room. Our travel agent made a mistake in the room reservation but we were upgraded to this room. We looked right out at the ocean, but did not have a balcony. The manor building also had rooms with balconies, which may have been nicer. The manor building is the older building. The windsor is a large, newer building but I don't know about the rooms. Some of the "oceanview rooms" in the Windsor are so far back that I am not sure what kind of view it would have. But, hopefully, you will hear from someone who stayed in this building. Actually, I was very happy in the manor buiding because it was smaller. The Windsor building is so large. There was a convention of 100 people staying there and it was very busy. The Manor Building was not so crazy. What did you think of the day's events that I e-mailed you?

Hi,

Going to SRB in just over a week for my honeymoon. Any special advice on activities? How was the weather? Praying for sunshine.

Jasran

I'm also going to SRB in a little over a week (JUNE 14-21). . I was in the Bahamas last June (stayed at Breezes) and the weather was fabulous. Hopefully it'll be the same this time.
Cheers !!

Hi , We were in SRB in June last year. We stayed in the Windsor block and our room was excellent. Although it was classed as a suite. We overlooked the pool and the ocean. We used to sit on our balcony in the morning and have breakfast, sun shining and watching over the ocean. It was lovely. We did have a few heavy showers in the afternoon but it was still really warm so no one bothered about them. Still lots of people in the pool and Jaccuzi while it was raining, so no one bothered about the showers. SRB is a lovely resort. You will have a lovely time there I'm sure. Mary-jo

I liked the Manor Builiding as it wasn't as big as the Windsor Builiding. We were on the bottom floor-a grand lux ocean view room. I would have like the 2nd through 6th floor with a balcony. I would try to go for that. Keep in mind, though, that SRB is more expensive than the ones in Jamaica. When are you going?

Sandals Royal Bahamian - June

Postby jasran » Tue Jun 08, 2004 11:20 am

Thanks orcaluv!

Yes, that's when we'll be there. Really looking forward to it. Weather reports say scattered T-storms but 90 degrees. Haha. It's probably really bad for me to be tracking the weather like this. . . . . No matter what the weather's like, it'll be nice to be away from the desk and pacing the beach instead.

Cheers and safe travels.

SRB - JUNE

Jasran,
I'm bad for tracking the weather too!! Last June it said T-storms and lot's of rain for the whole week we were there.. .. .. .. ..which was discouraging. It turned out to have Thunder and Rain 1 nt out of 7, and it was after 10:00pm. No big deal.. .. .. .. ..other than that it was sun, sun, sun :-)

ONLY 4 MORE SLEEPS . .. .. .. .. . HAHAHA!!
