Hi, I am taking htis trip end of August. I am a single female and going by myself. Has anyone done this trip, or is amnyone going on this trip? What is the age group? Packing adivce? How strict are they with the luggage, can you take a large one, or two smaller ones without much hassle. Is there anywhere to do laundry on the trip. Is it safe?
First time for me to Europe, and I am nervous!!!

I've travelled with Globus, but not that tour. Since you didn't get an answer, I'll try.

Luggage rules are strict. If you bring more than one bag for under the bus, it costs them money at each stop, so they charge you. Your carry on is stuffed under your seat, so keep it small. The overhead storage is so small that it's hard to put a coat up there. We always take an extra duffle bag with us so that we can fit in end of the trip souvineers.

Safe--very. The tour guides want to bring back all they started with. You will have to deal with areas where there are pickpockets--but that's just common sense.

I take a clothesline with me, and wash underwear on two day hotel stays. Otherwise, no facilities. Hotel laundries are expensive. I wear my clothes for 3 days, as does most everyone else. They stay reasonably fresh. You don't have to impress anyone with your stylishness.

Have a grand trip.
