My wife and I will be cruising Alaska on Royal Carribean 5/28-6/8 (cruise and land) and would like to get some advice from others who have already been there.

We're looking at the excursions, in particular. If you've already done this cruise, would you please let us know the following about the excursions listed below:

a. It was a great experience
b. It was a horrible experience
c. It was something you chose not to do and now regret it.

Excursions:

1. Lumberjack show in Ketchikan
2. Misty fjords seaplane adventure or Misty fjords flightseeing
3. Sportsfishing in Ketchikan
4. White Pass Scenic Railway in Skagway
5. Skagway Experience
6. Dog Sledding & Glacier Flightseeing out of Skagway

There are countless other excursions for us to consider, but these are the 6 in which we are currently most interested. We'd like to book these excursions soon (next week or so), just to have them paid for (they ain't cheap ;) ) and also to be sure they don't get booked before we get a chance. If you have others that you feel we should not miss out on, please let us know. We're both young (mid-30s) and in good health (a little overweight, maybe). .

Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions you may have.

I just found out that we're also stopping in Icy Strait. Figured I'd include this information also, in case anyone had information about it.

Thanks!

Cruise to Alaska

We have cruised RC to Alaska twice and both times it was great. We won't cruise on anything but RC. Have tried Princess and others once, but they don't compare to RC. The helicopter tour to the glacier is unbelievalbe. You land out on one and walk around on it for a while. The colors of the glacier is unreal.
