Has anyone out there taken tour #5130 - European Mosaic? My husband and I have never been to Europe and have agonized over which trip and which tour company to take. Please reply with both negative and positive responses.

Thanks!

I have not taken that tour but we did take a 3 week tour of the UK with Cosmos and had a Great time. We are planning another tour with Cosmos for 2005 and have little worries. The people on the tour bus are a key element to Enjoying the trip, some days are long with a lot of driving/stopping/driving/stopping (you will See a LOT) so having a good group can be a blessing. At the time some days seemed to last a Long time, but looking back It was GREAT. There will be small problems and an occasional bump in the road, like when our Hotel was double booked we had to go to another hotel farther from the city then originaly. Let the small stuff go and ENJOY, You WILL have a Great time no matter what if you set your mind to it. BTW I did Worry all the time BEFORE we went (Wife? Son 18 Daughter 15 & Me 48) and it turned out to be the Best 21 days of my life (except getting married and the kids too lol) ENJOY!

Just back from Cosmos 9020 tour to England, Wales and Scotland. Tour was perfect in every way. No problems. Guides were great as was our tour group. Looking at our 2005 tour (with Cosmos) already.

Who was your Tour Guide & Driver, we had Steve (guide) & Alan (driver). . Steve was Incredible Guide who was VERY Knowledgeable and we could not of had a better driver, we ALWAYS felt comfortable with Alan behind the wheel. You were on a similar tour as we were the only differance was ours included Ireland and a couple of more places in Scotland and 1 in England (hence the extra week). . We had a Fantastic time, the only drawback in my opinion was the Hotels were not IN town and I do wish it would have been Closer so we could have spent more time IN Town than at the hotels. If you go on the "Optionals" then it wont matter, and EVERYONE seemed to Enjoy the "Optionals". . All in All we WILL use Cosmos again and look forward to being in Europe next Summer.

RE:Cosmos British Panorama tour 9020 0328. Our tour guide was Domanic and our driver was Adrian. From our guide and driver to the uniformed hosts in London we found the staff of Cosmos great in every possible way. We are planning our 2005 trip (with Cosmos) already. Our travel experience with Cosmos was excelent. I would also like to mention we took the "Deluxe Thames river dinner cruise" (not offered by Cosmos) while in London. Although a little expensive it was one of the highlights of our trip and well recomended. The Bateux Paris dinner cruise will be on our list of things to do next year.

my wife and I took the European Mosaic in September 2002 and it was terriffic. You'll get to see LOTS of places. I suggest no taking all of the options or you'll miss out on the fun of exploring on your own. For example, we had a great time wondering around Lucerne for about 6 hours, sampling the outstanding pastry shops, and climbing to the top of one of the old city wall towers. This was our 2nd Cosmos tour, we did the England, Wales and Scotland tour, and we're looking right now on which Cosmos tour to take this year. Anybody have any suggestions on which Scandanavia or central Europe tours are good?

Both of our tour directors and bus drivers were absolutely top of the line, which definitely made us Cosmos advocates.

Have fun, ignore the little bumps in the road along the way, and enjoy the gorgeous scenery in Switzerland and Austria.
