Conquest vs. Granduer of the sea out of New Orleans

Postby KenBran » Sun Mar 14, 2004 1:11 am

Hi, :D
I just got back from a cruise on the Carnival Conquest. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We went as a family with my parents, my sister and her husband and his parents. Also about 10 other friends came along. We had such a good time some of us are planning another cruise. What I am wondering is, we are looking into the RCCL Granduer of the sea. Which one is better? :?:
One thing that we liked about the Conquest is that we had a set time and table for diner. We did not have to wait in line to eat diner. Is the RCCL ships like this?
I heard that the shows are better on the RCCL also. Is there any truth to this? :?
Thanks
Kenny

Royal Caribbean is very similar to Carnival, but the Conquest is a much newer, larger ship than the Grandeur. Dining is done the same way, but you will have much more variety in casual dining options on the Conquest. However, variety is the spice of life! You should try other ships and other lines to see what you like the best! The Grandeur is a beautiful ship -- very elegant-looking, I just think the Conquest has more to offer.
