I hope you enjoyed your Italian vacation and are settled down back to a “normal routine.” We are leaving for the same tour on 5-20 from SFO and I have many questions to ask you but will hold it down to a few, and I hope you do not mind. I noticed you were gone for about 30 days, was the “on your own half” better than the “tour half”, if so why? Any advice about buses in Rome from the Pineta Palace to downtown attractions? Did you use the “Vastours” buses at all? About the tour and various side trip excursions, if you could of left one out and done another twice, which would it be? We will be celebrating our 46th anniversary in Rome, any recommendations on a nice place to celebrate with diner and dancing? We are planning the Best of Italy trip and are interested in finding out more about the optional tours; which you wish you would have passed on and which you would not want to miss. I am looking forward to Capri and understand going on your own was fairly simple and enjoyable. Any comments?
