Was curious if anyone else who flew on flight 447 from Punta Cana to Cleveland on 2/13/04 ended up ill????? My brother ,his wife and 2 young children were on the flight and the 3 of them that ate the airline food were all very ill within 4-6 hours after the meal. They finally were able to talk to someone at usa3000 airlines on monday and they claim that they have had no other reports of this, but they will investigate.

My husband and I became very sick after eating the chicken on our return from Ixtapa Mexico to Chicago, Feb 23, 2004. We are wondering if there was anyone else on that flight who also became sick. The person I spoke to at the airline was very rude and told me I had to contact our Apple Vacation Rep which I did. I think they are going to ignore this. i was on the flight 447 and had no problem. Prob. it was something you had before the flight. I thought the flight was great.

Sounds like you got something in Mexico before leaving. A local tip in Cancun says to drink cola based drinks with lots of lime juice to kill things you may get from eating, etc.. .. . works too.
