Going on Globus Tour Taste of Italy Apr 26-2 May. Need advice where to stay after in Venice for 2 nights. Good location, not too pricey. We are staying extra 5 days and travelling to Tuscany via car. Wanting to stay Monsignor della Casa 3 nights- anybody stayed there or recommend anywhere else. Picking up car at Venice airport and dropping back on departure- travelling thru Tuscany by car.. ..I hear it's easy to get lost. First time in Europe so any advice would be welcome.. .. ..THANKS

I have only stayed in Venice on tour so I will be no help regarding hotels there however I always use tripadvisor or venere to find hotels in Europe when we are traveling on our own. I suggest you make your reservations asap as the hotels in Venice and Rome book up many months in advance.
