If you click on the above link for Cosmos you will be able to get the information about your tour.There is a map and a detailed itenarary, also a list of hotels. I usually get the list of hotels and than check the reviews on tripadvisor dot com to find out the quality of the hotels.I have taken several tours and imho the more 2 night stops the better it is.This does look pretty good in that there are several 2 night stops.
Cosmos is the budget arm of Globus so if you are not happy with the hotel reviews check out the same tour with Globus.From my experience it really doesn't matter to much about the hotels as you are only in them long enough to sleep.Of course the more centrally located they are the better it is if you want to strike out on your own.Generally speaking the public transportation is very good in Europe but I have not been to Spain or Portugal.
