Has anyone cruised on the River Countess? We are booked on this ship next summer (2008). . All the pictures look good. They say it was refurbished this year. Looking for a first hand experience.

I have cruised with Avalon on the Tranquility traveling from Budapest to Amsterdam. It was wonderful. I suggest you go to cruisecritic web site and than to the river cruise forum. You will find many that have cruised with Uniworld on that forum. You will have the absolute vacation of a lifetime. It is THE best way to travel.Very similar to a coach tour except that you only unpack one time and you take your hotel with you.Very relaxing!!! If the river cruise ships went everywhere it is the only way I would travel in the future.
