I'm trying to decide between the Best of Italy and Greece with Greek Island cruise and Turkey. Hard to choose but I'm leaning to doing Italy next summer and Greece for the trip after!!
Has anyone been on the best of Italy?
hotels, food, drinks all good!!

Just returned from Best of Italy. Saw 12 cities in 10 days. It was a fast paced tour not moderate as described in the pamphlet. We did see a lot although most of it was very rushed and we would have preferred to spend a little more time in some places. Spent only two hours in Sorrento and no time in Naples. Hardly drove through it. Venice tour was very rushed and it was raining hard that day so it was not the best time of the trip. Hotels were good except for two that had very small rooms and were not as nice as the others. Food was OK. Some dinners better than others. Breakfast was usually good. Let me know if you need more detail. Overall trip was good and I would book again with Globus. SH

That is way to rushed for me. DH and I will be doing the Leisurely Italy tour next May. WE will have 3 days Rome, 3 days Florence and 3 days Venice.We will be going to Rome 2 days post tour so will have a total of 5 days in Rome. I very much prefer the slower paced tours or rivercruising.
This will be our 5th time in Europe so I definitely speak from experience.

We did this tour in October, 2005. She is right about no time in Naples. But Naples is not really worth seening. We would rather spend more time in Capri and Sorrento, which we did.
