Anyone have any experience with this hotel? I have checked Trip Advisor & the main complaint seems to be the location. Also read on one of these message boards that there is no place close by to purchase food, snacks, etc. & the prices are unreasonable at the hotel--like $7.50 for a coke, $35.00 for drink at the bar.
Since we arrive early on Sun. I had hoped to attend Mass but sounds like we are in the boonies.

Yeah, we were there 2 years ago, beautiful hotel, very nice lobby and gorgeous patio. But the location is no good. There is nothing within walking distance. Good Luck

We stayed at the Visconti Palace hotel which was within walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the Vatican.
Cheers
