We are thinking about a Mediterranean cruise sometime in the next year and would like some feedback from anyone who has done a Costa cruise there. Info. like benefits to a certain time of year, crowds, excursions and the names of particular cruises with itineraries that include Greece, Italy, France and Spain. Not particularly interested in visiting Venice (as so many cruises do) as we visited there last year (loved it, but want to see something different and spend time pre and post cruise in a city we haven't seen like Barcelona and Athens). . Any information is appreciated.

We went on a cruise with the Costa line last May to Norway. Their prices are very good and we enjoyed the cruise very much but the Costa line is not wonderful.
They cater to European's and they are very rude people. We had people practiculaly push us out of the way on our way to our cabin, not say excuse me, and just be on their way. There was 3 Italian women that pushed a women out of her chair so they could have it. Unbelievable. Everything is in 6 different languages and if you take a trip to the Mediterrean it is going to be mostly Europeans. I would book another cruise line. There is plenty. If you book them I hope you have a good experience. Norway is beautiful and we are glad that we went but americans are few and far between on these ships. Good Luck.

Fabbenn, I totally agree with you. Stick with the major cruise lines; HAL, Celebrity, Carnival, etc.
