This will be my first tour abroad. We are on the Sept 8 tour. Has anyone been on this tour recently? How were the hotels and food?
Anything you can tell me about this tour will be appreciated.

We are booked on the September 29th tour. You might check back to some of last fall's postings as there were a few who had just been on this tour and reported back in detail about the trip. I found the information invaluable in planning ours as well. It will be great if you could post as soon as you get back so that we will know what to expect!

You will love the Globus Tour of Italy and Sicily. We went on this tour last Oct.. . The hotels were very nice and the food was, in our opinion very good. We received more than our monies worth. The bus was new and spotless, the driver and tour director very knowledgeable and professional. The only optional tour we took was to Mt Etna (excellent). . Sicily is a very beautiful place. Friends that we traveled with, who had never been to Italy, took most of the optional tours and enjoyed them all. The pace was fast, the country spectacular. Italy is the best and Globus does a great job showing it.
Our hotel in Assisi was in the best location and their meals were excellent, just like grandma. We are booked on another Globus Tour for this Sept. "Prague to Budapest". . Check the post I made last Nov for more information about the Italy Tour.

Thank you for your info. I did read last year's info also. We ca't wait to go. I am looking forward to Sicily almost more than Italy. I am so glad we dicided to go there.
