I did the HIGHLIGHTS OF BRITIAN AND IRELAND which covers the exact same places a few years ago. You really get to see a lot. It was a little tiring but lots of fun. You will enjoy it.Be prepared for changing weather.

I uaually spend about $700.00 for 2 weeks but I am not a big shopper at all. I also skip lunch when I have a big breakfast which is just about everyday. Many people go sit in a restaurant for lunch but I prefer to pick up a snack and explore the town. Much more fun to have a little picnic on a park bench.I always buy water and pop and some snacks etc. Find a grocery store to buy your water, pop etc. They're everywhere, just like 7/11 here. Not the major ones but the small neighborhood ones. Don't buy at the hotel as it will cost you about $3.00 for a bottle of water at the hotel and $4.00 for pop. Many people picked up an apple at the morning buffet and took that with them. You shouldl use the ATM for cash and use a credit card for larger purchases. Leave the Travelers Checks at home, nobody will cash them.
