Unfortunately I could not access your trip report I tried three times.

I have a question, as a single female traveller I am concerned as there is more time on your own on the Cosmos Spain, Portugal & Morocco tour.

I usually make some friends on a Cosmos tour but it can happen that you are left on your own and my concern is as a female what can you do alone in Morocco when all the advice is that it is not safe for a woman alone there I would prefer not to be alone there.

Can you offer any advice regarding this, and did you notice if there was a lot of time to spend on your own this is not always desirable on a coach tour if you are unlucky enough not to find enjoyable company to sometimes get around with, obviously it is not right to spend all the time with others and not necessary either.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi Possum,

The URL for the trip report is http://home.comcast.net/~e3brown

This forum is placing an extra period between "home and comcast" where there should only be one. It does the same thing between comcast and net. Remove the extra period and it should work.

There were 18 of us on this trip. I was the only one who did any adventuring away from the group. There were 5 women and 2 men who were traveling alone. However, beginning on day 1, people formed traveling friends. The only time people were alone is when they chose to be alone. You should have no problem finding a traveling mate.

I'm not the best person to judge how safe places were. My background is such that I have been and lived in some threatening places, so my perspective is not the same as others. With that said, I felt very safe everywhere I went (including wandering around on my own in Morocco). .

I sent you a private mail with my email address. If you can't get to my trip report, email me and I will fwd the trip report.

I do recommend the trip.

Hi,

Thankyou for your PM and very informative reply.

I have sent you an email address so you can forward your trip report on to me and again I really appreciate your help.

It is good to be able to ask for and receive advice when considering a particular tour.

Regards,
