G'day Momdoo

Now I feel bad about my flippant "more" answer to your first query.

Another suggestion is to do a search of this Forum with the three words London and Rome and you will find some good comments although not much on your tour company.

From my personal experiences travelling around Europe at that time of the year it can still be quite cold but rarely hot.

The best and cheapest and safest way to access money is using a Visa Access card at the ATM machines which are everywhere. It's quite safe to use your Visa or Amex credit card almost everywhere but preferably don't let it out of your sight.

Just relax and enjoy as many different experiences and cultures as you can and always try to say good morning and thank you and sorry in the local language and you will be better accepted and better treated.

Enjoy

Mike.

We had no problems with either credit cards or using the ATM when we needed money. Just make sure you have pounds or euros for things such as cabs and some meals. It is not cheap in London, so be prepared :). .

One tip on credit cards and ATM's. I checked with my bank (Bank of America) and found that they were in a group with a number of European banks, one being Barclay's in London. I was able to use my ATM at those without paying extra. Also, check to see what the add-on for foreign purchases with your CC is. I think they all add 1%, but a number add an additional 2%. . I was able to find a couple of cards that didn't do the extra adding.

Always use the ATM machine AFTER you have witnessed someone else use it first.
