I am considering flying from Toronto to Edinburgh next summer on BMI. I have never flown this airline, and I know virtually nothing about it. Is it reliable? Any threats of bankruptcy? Anyone have any positive or negative experiences about BMI that you can share with me? Most important, would you buy tix on this airline for international travel next year?

I just flew on BMI in May'06 and experience was good, however, it was a small domestic flight between London and Glasgow. I was not even aware that they flew internationally. They did not appear to be a risky airline. Very professional & comfy. Hope you enjoy your trip to Edinburgh. Our tour (Bonnie Scotland) stopped there for 2 days and I found it breathtaking! Must go back! Am booked on another tour (Britain Sampler) for Sept '07 and it goes to Edinburgh for another 2 day stop. So much to see, it is impossible to do in 2 short days!
