We have just implemented a major upgrade to the bulletin board.

The bulleting board (BB) is now running on its own dedicated server, which is much faster than the old server it was on.

We also updated the software to have the latest version.

There are many updates for security and anti-spam. For the users that use this bulletin board for legitimate reasons there shouldn’t be any problems. Only those that abuse the BB will notice the difference. The only exception is for new users. All new users will have to be manually activated by the administrator. We feel that this is a minor inconvenience for the legitimate users, but a major hindrance for the spammers.

In addition several people have volunteered to serve as moderators, which will help even more to reduce the spam or inappropriate messages. If you would like to volunteer as well please send me a private message (PM). .
