Did a 12 day Alpine tour with Insight last year and it was wonderful. Went through switzerland and Bavaria. Tour director, Elmar, was the best and the hotels were above average. Very very satisfied.

Taking another tour of Spain this year, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, etc., and was wondering if anyone had had any experience.

Did the 10 day Amazing Spain and Portugal tour with Insight departing 26 Dec 03- 4 Jan 04.. .. .

Had a great time.. ..the hotels were very nice and in good locations.

Biggest regret in Portugal was the limited amount of time we had in Fatima.

Also, some of the local guides were not very good.. ..many complaints about that.. .. .

Overall, my family of four had a great time and met some wonderful people - which is always a bonus!

At the end of the tour my husband and I spent another 5 days in Madrid whcih we thoroughly enjoyed. We met some lovely people on the trip and we still correspond with one couple.
